Description of the offer

The six-month internship diploma work will involve the synthesis of silicon doped hematite film as a semiconductor and sensitize with dye molecules. The objective will be to enhance the photocurrent density of the film and to apply it further in the solar hydrogen production. The films will be characterized for well-controlled optical, structural, and compositional properties followed by its correlation with photoelectrochemical properties.

Mission: Solar Hydrogen generation

 Experimental techniques and characterization tools: Dip coating, solution processing routes, XRD, FESEM, FT-ITM UV-VIS, and Photocurrent density measurement
